Total Full-time and Part-time Employment by Industry (NAICS)

This database reports the average annual number of jobs, full-time plus part-time for U.S. states. Each job that a person holds is counted at full weight. The estimates are largely by place of work.

Employment is based on the North American Industry Classification System categories (NAICS), which the the Bureau of Economic Analysis began reporting in March 2003. The source for these data is the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
